Okay...I have to get up SOOOO early tomorrow and need to go to bed BUT, I had to post these pages I did with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio! Demonstrators have it now and customers can get it October 1st! It is AWESOME! I did these pages in no time at all with pre-made templates! Check it! Aren't these totally too kool for school??? I mean, seriously! Scrapbooking has never been so beautiful and easy! If you are like me and you like the texture and 3-D look...no worries! Hybrid scrap! Do your pages digitally and then add some ribbon or a pop-up scallop! Sa-weet! My next scrapbooking trip is going to be me, My Digital Studio and a blankie (pink, of course!)!

Okay, so I realize I am really bad at the blogging thing, and yet, I continue to press on! It has been super busy with the end of summer and getting kids ready for back to school, but alas, I am childless through the day, M-F! I didn't ever think I would see the day! I haven't gotten lonely thus far, but hey, they just started...that could change! For my scrapbook club ladies, above are our pages for August! I gave each of you measurements on a little direction sheet so you should have them handy with your packet! Tomorrow (I know, gasp! Two posts in a row!), I am going to post some pictures of the NEW MY DIGITAL STUDIO! Just some pages I threw together today...EASY! You are all going to want this program!
I LOVE this stamp set and ribbon! We have this new striped ribbon in several colors...including Pumpkin Pie, which is going to look so awesome on Halloween cards and projects!

Yes, today is my birthday! I am celebrating by having a pajama day! Okay, first, I have to ask if you all saw the New Moon trailer last night??? Woo-hoo! It's going to be totally AWESOME! And now on to stamping! The first 2 pages are what we did for Scrapbook Club last week...I love this Simply Scrappin' Kit! Totally my colors! And perfect for summer! On Saturday I had an all day scrapbooking event and made some 6 x 6 pages to sell and we did a 6 x 6 make and take! We had a great time hanging out and getting scrapbooking done! Okay, so this is not stamping related but it is one of my many obsessions, so I'm posting it anyway! I have stepped away from the stamp room for the last couple weeks, trying to get to end of the school year programs and house cleaning (yuck!). But Summit released the first New Moon Poster today and it is just cool! So enjoy! Can't wait for November 20th! I will definitely be going so if you need a movie buddy...let me know!

I will try to be back in the stamping suite today to get some teacher gifts done, so hopefully I'll have some projects up soon...in the mean time, don't get drool on your laptop from this great poster! LOL!

Mother's Day Sneak Peak and April Scrapbook Club!

Okay...since I haven't posted pics in a while...LOTS to post today! Tomorrow we are having stamp camp here and we are working on Mother's Day projects...here is a sneak peak at a couple items we are making! Did everyone get their mommies something good??? My mom's and mother-in-law's presents are in the mail today!

Here is a card that was inspired by one on splitcoaststampers...it was hard for me to not use any bright colors! But I still like it! We did this at stamp club last week...it was a winner! Classy!

And lastly, here is April's Scrapbook Club layouts made with Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit...man, I love those things! They make scrapbooking so much easier! Okay, for those who missed club, there are 2 - 3 x 12 inch celery pieces that line both pages. The kiwi pieces at the top of both layout are 4 x 6 inches. The saffron piece on the bottom of the second layout is 6 x 6 inches. And the light blue piece on the bottom of the first layout with the flowers is 11 3/4 x 6 inches.

Scrapbook Club and Spring!

Here are the scrapbook pages for Scrapbook Club this month! We used the Simply Scrappin' Kit Love Sparkles...I *heart* this one! The colors are so pretty! Of course, I love pink with anything, but it looks especially nice with Chocolate Chip and So Saffron! On the top page the striped designer paper is 8 x 8 inches and the photo layers in Pretty in Pink and So Saffron are both 4 x 6. The second page has the pink designer paper cut 12 x 6 inches and then the 3 hearts on top and the So Saffron heart has one of those great new flower brads...LOVE those!

And so I continued the color scheme with my Mini Catalog Swap card! I just love these colors together! I couldn't get enough! Who doesn't love all these new mini catalog stamp sets and that scallop punch??? FUN! I also used the new designer series paper "A Walk in the Park" from the new mini, and of course, a pink flower brad...cuz they're AWESOME!

On a side note, we survived all the birthdays...whew! I was glad to see a busy March come to an end...only to turn around and welcome Spring! We have had lots of April showers here in Virginia...leading to several cancelled soccer practices and games. This actually doesn't bother me much (shhhh! don't tell the kids!) because it gives me more time to be at home in my stamp studio! Hope you enjoy and get creative sometime this week!

Okay, so I know I have been a little obsessive with the Twilight thing, and to be honest, it's not totally out of my system, even after watching it about 5 times this weekend with the kids and friends. Hey girls! You know that tonight is the Twilight release...the night we've all been waiting for! So in honor of that, I have made up a Twilight goody pack! Yes, I'm Still here!

It has been a crazy month and the insanity continues this month! We have our own "March Madness" going on at the Taylor house...three of our four kids have birthdays this month! Note to self: Do NOT vacation in June!!! Hence the background change on my blog...we are partying it up here with lots and lots of cake!!! There have been some things that I have made though that haven't made it to the blog, so enjoy!!!

Last weekend, I had a weekend crop where I set up a table and we did make and takes...it was a lot of fun! It was most of the day Friday and all day Saturday! Then Sunday my upline organized a fundraiser for one of our sister demos fighting breast cancer and I was a helper! It was a fabulous event and we raised over $3200 for her!!! I know that she was very grateful and this will help her family out tremendously!

So I will try to keep my posts at once a week, but who knows what will happen this month??? Maybe I will just posts lots of birthday cards to keep in theme with the month!!!

Scrapbook Club!

Hello all! Tonight was our first Scrapbook Club meeting! Each month we pick a Simply Scrappin' Kit and then I design a 2 page layout for everyone. The club members take turns being the hostess and then we get together, make the pages and everyone goes home with pages ready for pics! This month we did Hoppy Memories! I love this kit! It is so bright and fun! It makes me think of my 4 year old son, Jackson! We had a blast making our 2 page layout and laughing and laughing! What a fun group of ladies! For those of you who couldn't make it, I will be dropping off your packets tomorrow and here are the dimensions! On both pages, the photo card stock is all 4 x 6. The green bubble paper is 12 x 6. The 2 squares (blue and white striped) are both 6 x 6. We used the Big Shot scallop die for a background for the frog...so cute! It is a great time to get the Big Shot during Sale-A-Bration! A Valentine and Sock Monkey for Sydney!

I was recently in a Love You Much Swap with my friend Robin Merriman (it's a great swap group called the Go-divas...isn't that fun!) and this was my swap! It's one of those great top note die gift bags! Another terrific reason to own a Big Shot! These are so adorable and easy!

So I have a good friend and customer who has a thing for sock monkeys...it's a "family thing". And our Sock Monkey is totally cute and adorable, but frankly, sock monkeys creep me out! I have some card samples from Convention and Sydney needed some ideas so this is for you, girlie! Enjoy these fabulous ideas! I especially love the paper piecing done on the sock monkey...so cute! I did not make any of these but they are great samples and *almost* tempt me to buy that sock monkey:)!

Okay, here are a few more pictures from Leadership! We have Jaron, demoing some of his new favorite products, a couple demo boards with fun, new products, a few swaps that my lucky friends got and I didn't but loved! That was so fun...a theater full of Stampin' Up! demonstrators! Glenda Travelstead (in the red and brown in front) had seen Twilight now 27 times!!!! WOW! We love Edward!

Classes were great, free stamps, AWESOME make and takes, NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS of DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING on the way, not to mention the NEW 2009 Spring/Summer Catalog! Happy New Year everyone! I know it has been a while since I have posted some creativity! It has been a busy Christmas season...I am currently in Ohio visiting my family and will fly home today but I (with my mom and sister's help!) have been working on some swaps for Leadership! The Christmas season is officially upon us! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had mostly a quiet day...with a touch of some family flag football! I was cooking and reading most of the morning (after I watched Twilight, it put me in the mood to go back and read it again...so I read all 4 books again last week...and that's why you haven't heard from me!) But I did do some stamping...and here is the proof! Patty Bennett made some awesome little gift card holders with the Big Shot and the Top Note die...so I had to try my hand at that adorable project!

I resisted and resisted this little guy...but all I found was that resistance was futile! I had to have him and make a fun Christmas card! My friend Mary had a party today and here is one of the cards we made...I think everyone loved this quick and cute card!

My upline, Christina Crawford had a birthday last week! I don't know how old she turned but I do know she needed a stinkin' cute card! Mine to her was late, due to a busy schedule at home but I hope she had a great birthday at VA Beach Regionals! Happy Birthday girlie!

A friend of mine went in to have some outpatient surgery about a week ago. She *loves* peppermint patties! So I made her a little treat to "feel better". Our favorite color is *PINK* and who doesn't love that Just Jawing set?!!!

Well, hello! It has been a while since I posted! It has been so busy lately! I will try to do better! I have some great things to post tonight that I have CASED (which means copy and share everything!). The Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card is cased from a card I got in a swap and the original was made by Cindy Westerink and she used the Scandinavian set from the Holiday Mini...I swapped it for the tree in Snow Swirled. I just love this card and the color scheme!

I found a couple from last year (when I didn't have my blog!) that I did with Season of Joy stamp set! I love this set...especially with these non traditional Christmas colors! So enjoy some Christmas inspiration!

So last night was Halloween and like I said, I have been feeling under the weather but still, we must press on! I had 4 munchkins plus one friend that were not about to miss out on candy!

This past weekend we went to Williamsburg with my mom and dad who are visiting! We had a great time! Here we are (except for mom who took the picture!) with Thomas Jefferson in downtown Williamsburg! Look how fabulous I look with Moose Antlers...thanks Mackenzie!

Ack! How cute is this??? I used the new Ginormous Flowers Decor Elements on the back of my van!!! Did I talk to my husband first??? Of course not! hehehe! Now he won't want to drive MY van! of Season of Friendship! I just love this Stampin' Up! set! It is so great for every occasion! I have used it over and over again...I promise I'll move on to a new set soon!

I have also been busy preparing for a Super Saturday event at church! Here are the projects we are going to do...they were fun! I hope everyone will like them!

I also made this adorable little owl for teachers at church! It has been on several different blogs and I just had to case it! On the back, I printed "Thanks for "owl" you do!". He is so stinkin' cute!

So it's really late and I'm really tired but I wanted to share some things that were going on here! I had a stamp camp last week and wanted to share a few things we made for that and I also took some pictures of one of my daughters, Mackenzie, and just wanted to post a couple of those! I took my youngest daughter, Kelsie, to get some modeling pictures made to send out to agencies and then my oldest daughter, not to be outdone, also wanted some of her! So off we went to get some shots of her as well! Hope you enjoy the cards!

I love the Frankenstein card! He is mostly cased from others on www.splitcoaststampers.com...many different versions have been done and all ca-ute! I love that little guy! He is made using the top note die with the Big Shot...LOVE IT!

The Christmas card with the new Season of Friendship stamp set from the Holiday Mini was for a swap I am in. They should be getting them any day! The birthday card using Crazy for Cupcakes and my new favorite paper, SWEET ALWAYS and the Halloween card are for my class tomorrow night! I hope they like them...I sure had fun making them!

Okay, so I know when I started this blog, I said I would post "tomorrow" but I was sorely mistaken on the amount of time it would take me to figure out how to link cool stuff here! I have been working on it this past week in between running kids to soccer practices, games, pictures, preschool, etc!

I also attended my fabulous upline (Christina Crawford) meeting this weekend where I got tons of great tips and a very cute make and take! Here is what I have also been working on this week...a couple of swap cards for Christina's meeting and a Go-Diva swap I am in that Robin Merriman hosts!
